TERMS & CONDITIONS Rent With Lyss By placing a booking with Rent With Lyss, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by the following Terms & Conditions. These terms form a legally binding rental agreement between you (“the Renter”) and Rent With Lyss. Rent With Lyss reserves the right to amend these Terms & Conditions at any time. The Terms & Conditions published on our website at the time of your booking will apply to your rental. Rental Agreement All garments remain the sole property of Rent With Lyss at all times. By hiring a garment, you are paying for the temporary use of the garment for the agreed rental period only. Ownership of the garment is never transferred to the renter. Your booking is confirmed only once full payment has been received and your booking has been accepted by Rent With Lyss. Garments must only be worn by the person who made the booking unless prior written approval has been given. Rent With Lyss reserves the right to refuse or cancel any booking at its discretion. Payment All rental fees must be paid in full before your booking is confirmed. Prices, promotions, and availability are subject to change until payment has been received. Bookings cannot be held without payment. Shipping & Collection Shipping is available nationwide. Shipping fees are charged separately unless otherwise stated. A return postage bag will be provided where applicable. Local pick-up may be available for selected bookings. Once your garment has been dispatched, Rent With Lyss is not responsible for delays caused by courier companies, weather events, public holidays, incorrect delivery addresses, or circumstances outside of our control. Courier delays do not qualify for refunds, credits, or compensation. Rental Period Your rental period begins on the agreed delivery or collection date and ends on the specified return date. The garment must be returned by the agreed return date to avoid late fees and to ensure it is available for the next customer. Returns Weekend rentals must be returned by 1:00pm on the following Monday, unless otherwise agreed. Garments must be returned using the supplied return packaging and instructions. Please do not place garments in public drop boxes unless specifically instructed. Late Returns Late returns incur a fee of $15 per day until the garment has been returned. If a garment is not returned after repeated attempts to contact the renter, Rent With Lyss reserves the right to charge the full retail value of the garment, along with any recovery costs incurred. Damage, Stains & Loss Please treat every garment with care. If a garment becomes stained, damaged, lost, or requires repair during your rental period, you must notify Rent With Lyss immediately. Do not attempt to: Wash the garment Dry clean the garment Remove stains Repair any damage yourself Professional cleaning and repairs will be organised by Rent With Lyss. Where damage is beyond normal wear and tear, the renter may be responsible for: Professional cleaning costs Repair costs Replacement costs The full retail value of the garment if it is deemed beyond repair or is lost Normal Wear Minor signs of wear from normal use are expected and will not incur additional charges. Examples include: Loose threads Minor fabric wear General wear consistent with careful use Charges only apply where damage exceeds normal wear. Cancellations & Refunds If you choose to cancel your booking, Rent With Lyss may issue a store credit at its discretion. Refunds will not be provided for: Change of mind Incorrect sizing or fit Choosing not to wear the garment Courier delays after dispatch Event cancellations outside of our control Sizing Sizing differs between designers and brands. Measurements and sizing advice are provided as a guide only and cannot guarantee a perfect fit. No refunds or credits will be issued if a garment does not fit or is not worn. Garment Care To protect our garments, renters agree to: Avoid fake tan transferring onto garments. Avoid smoking while wearing garments. Avoid permanent makeup, oils, or products that may stain. Keep garments away from rough surfaces and sharp jewellery. Never wash or dry clean the garment. Try-On Appointments Try-on appointments are available by booking only. Appointments are approximately 30 minutes in duration. You are welcome to bring one guest. A $5 try-on fee applies. This fee will be deducted from your rental if you decide to hire a dress following your appointment. Photography & Social Media We love seeing our customers wearing our dresses. By tagging Rent With Lyss on social media or sending us photographs, you grant permission for us to repost your content across our social media platforms and website unless you specifically request otherwise. Limitation of Liability Rent With Lyss is not responsible for any loss, damage, injury, or expenses arising from: Courier delays Event cancellations Weather events Garment fit Circumstances beyond our reasonable control Our liability is limited to the amount paid for the rental where required by applicable law.
